Inclusive and Collaborative Services for Children and Families
Creative Roots provides therapeutic and educational programs to meet the individual needs of children and families facing complex challenges. Using creativity, the arts, nature and our current knowledge of neurobiology and the power of relationships, Creative Roots encourages children, families and the caring professionals who work with them, to create life-long connections to the world around us, and to each other.
Current research shows that using the whole body and brain throughout development enhances wellbeing, mental health, social skills, learning, creativity, and connection to the world around us, which in turn creates a sense of well-being; empowering both children and adults to choose and focus on what is most meaningful to them. Creative Roots provides education, therapy, assessment, and family support, as well as consultation and collaborative services, to support kids and families navigating complex challenges at home, in the community and at school.
