Sowing Seeds Homeschool Class Begins

Sowing Seeds:  Academic Support & Community Building (Approximate Age Range 7-11yo):  For students and families who benefit from a small group learning environment, our Sowing Seeds program offers individualized hands-on instruction in a nurturing community setting.  Classes meet from 10am-2:15pm Mondays and Wednesdays.

This program is a year long commitment and designed for children and families who want to encourage both independent and cooperative learning in an inclusive setting, and foster positive relationships with other kids and families in the program throughout the year.

Creative Roots will accept 10-12 kids for this program for the 2016-2017 academic school year.   Students will apply and be asked to come in for an informal meeting to ensure that Creative Roots is a good fit for their family.   Sowing Seeds is an inclusive program and accepts children with a wide range of academic, artistic and social-emotional learning needs.  Ideal candidates are creative, active learners who are open to adult direction and support.  Priority will be given to families who have already participated in Creative Roots programs.
