Most educators & health care professionals would agree that we want our students & clients to experience the benefits of relaxation, learning, positive relationships and positive self-expression, yet we often do not experience the opportunities ourselves.
Recent research in neuroscience shows that our ability to work with kids and families is directly related to our personal sense of wellbeing. Yet, educators are often exhausted, isolated and on the road to burn out. While we would not want our students and their families to feel this level of stress, we are modeling it for them and they see it and feel it.
