Homeschooling allows families the opportunity to create individualized learning opportunities for their children. Many families who chose to homeschool have concerns about academics, scheduling, juggling work and homeschooling, and many families want to connect with other families who share similar goals for their children.
We offer homeschool support and consultation for parents to help you create a plan or show you strategies for teaching your child basic skills and content area materials. Our classes for homeschoolers, as well as our other offerings, give homeschooling families and opportunity to connect and engage with other families who value community, independence, confidence and a desire to support life-long learning.
Each child and family has unique interests, styles and educational needs. Creative Roots offers individualized academic guidance for homeschooling families, homeschool classes, learning style assessments, tutoring, and PEP development. Classes are based on constructivist, arts-based and multiage with a focus on using creativity and play to instill and maintain a love for learning for a lifetime. Homeschool support and consultation for parents is also available, contact Monique for more information.

Testimonials
“Really want to give the highest praise to Monique & Creative Roots! Monique has a gentle, flexible yet focused teaching style that guides without being overbearing. She really knows how to draw out and build upon the interests and ideas of her students, and you can see she genuinely is interested in and likes the young people she works with. I’ve seen her bring together a group of very different kids and help them quickly form a real community, and she makes it look effortless! If you are looking for a deeper or more consistent learning community for your homeschooled child, look no further! This is a great opportunity for a child to get all the benefits of a “school” setting with none of the drawbacks. My son took yoga from Monique for a year, as well as a math and art class, and he loved them all. Do give Monique a call if you think a 2 day/week class with the same kids all year might fill some gaps in your homeschooling life!” ~Michelle A, Parent

“Leslie was amazing. Talk about patient and flexible. I can’t imagine anyone doing a better job with such a challenging kiddo. Thank you Leslie. ~ K.H., Parent
